If you are considering updating or revising your web site and you want some resources other than the usual, here are three web sites that offer resources you may find useful for sprucing up your company's web presence. Two sites offer free images or photos and the third offers quotations.

Library of Congress
The Library of Congress has an on line catalog, The Prints & Photographs Online Catalog (PPOC) that provides access through group or item records to more than 50 percent of the Division's holdings, as well as to some images found in other units of the Library of Congress. Do note that not all images are in the public domain.

WPClipart
WPClipart is a collection of high-quality public domain images specifically tailored for use in word processors, and optimized for printing on home/small office inkjet printers. There are thousands of color graphic clips as well as hundreds of illustrations and photographs. As of January there are 19,862 images. This is a clean and safe site for children and others to find good-quality, printable images.

Think Exist
An on line source for thousands of quotations by famous people. For example, type "money" in the search window and you'll get about 19,500 quotations having to do with money, such as this one from Woody Allen, "Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.
