If you are interested in starting your own business and the franchise industry attracts you, how do choose? How do you find one with a system and a buy-in that meets your needs?
Franchise Market Magazine (Summer 2007) recently published the top 100 franchises with an initial investment of less than $100,000. Who knows how many others are out there requiring a larger investment?
While we have not found any cheese franchises, in this issue we talk with business owners who have opted for the franchise route. There's a hockey team, restaurants, a cleaning and restoration service and a franchise for franchises. The focus here is on the people; why they chose a franchise, how the system works for them, and why they have been successful. Whether you own a franchise or an independent small or medium-size business, there are tips from these owners that can help.
